Recently I bought the PSR SX900. I still have my Genos but haven’t gigged since we moved to Missouri three years ago.
I bought the SX900 to play music in small groups with friends. I may try some small gigs again, we’ll see. My voice has taken a beating from two bouts with Covid and I just turned 74, so don’t have the stamina I once had.
I’ve had the SX900 just a few days but am so far, impressed. It isn’t at the level of my Genos but there’s a lot of keyboard there for the $$$.

I'm just curious, but with the 76 note Genos being so light (28 lbs compared to 32 lbs for the 61 note T4) and only 3lbs more than a 61 note SX900, what about the SX900 made it so much better for playing in small groups that it was worth blowing an extra $2300?
That’s an awful lot for just a couple of not that great onboard speakers… 💵💵💵
