Prince AJ are you going to show off "in detail" all the Launchpad and other features of the SD9 in this workshop...
or will it be a live band performance again?

If they're late again, you'll loose some of your audience ... smile

better tell the girls it's an 11 am show .... just to be safe!

Here's my big question for discussion/demo:

Please explain the thought process behind making the mic direct out, when it does NOT include the voicetron OR the effects? What is its intended use? I would understand if the harmonizer went out that jack too, then you could process vocals separately, but they don't. It's weird - what advantage is there over just plugging onto a separate mixer if you chose that route? I'm miffed, my friend.

I tried it today, and the harmonies still come through the speakers, and main out of the KB, but the DRY lead voice is taken out .... I'd love to know the design intent, because I can't imagine any scenario where it's useful. HELP!

You must have read my mind for I did tell them 11am (last time, there was an accident on 301 which delayed them by 45 mins!).

Let me look deeper into mic scenario ...

Prince AJ another thing that has to be address with the SD7 is the fact that when you open the vocal harmony page and try to select
let's say Duo Up for some reason it does not let you save it and ends up changing back to trio when different registrations are chosen..is it an OS problem that needs attention in next upgrade?
Or is there some kind of Lock you can set to keep the
voc harmony from ever changing no matter what reg song you choose?

help

There is a problem with that ONE setting, Duo Up. All the other presets work correctly. Oddly enough, I just got off the phone with AJ discussing this.
I think I can edit one of the other presets to work.
There is a Lock on the Vocalizer setup page, and it prevents anything from changing the setup, but that one setup does not work properly. Instead of one above, it defaults to trio down.
