... this evening a 40 year friend, golfing buddy, and co-worker on the 'day job', passed ... Ray fought some health issues for the past couple of years and over the past couple of weeks his health really deteriorated ... He was a true 'gentle man' and will be missed very much by those who knew him ... RIP, Ray, and God Bless

Tony sorry for your loss..
We are at that age... I found out yesterday, a friend of 70 years passed away.. Dave lost his wife, his oldest daughter and a grand son within 5 years or so.. He has a daughter and grandson surviving him.

Tony, it is like part of you gets taken away. What we have left is memories, it sounds like your friend left you some good ones – that part of your friend is still with you.

Sorry to hear the sad news Tony! 2020 has not been a good year in many ways.... hoping the blue skies and good news things will start dominating soon. Again, sorry for the loss of your old friend. May he RIP!

Thank you, all for the kind words ... It's especially tough because Ray and his wife are from NY, have no children, and no other relatives in RI ... her sister from out of town is with her now, but with the health situation the way it is, we (all their close friends) are very limited in what we can do ...
