Hi all!
I can't scan the manuals at this point 'cause my scanner is dead.

DOes anyone know how to change sustain foot switch polarity on MOtif workstations?

Most high-end workstations let you do that.. I hope this one also does.
However, being blind as a bat I can't find the way to do it. ALl I need to know is which menu/page of the Utility mode of the MOtif deals with that option.
I was able to find the page that dealt with sustain and pedal assign, but it only showed different control assign and no polarity change option.

SO if someone knows what I'm mummbling on about pleas help!

Hi Ed,
I don;t know the answer to your question but if you are now the owner or user of a Motif may I suggest to you www.motifator.com. It's a great resource! Extremely helpful. There's several forums out there.

Peace
Bob

Hey thanks!
I'll dive into it right away!

Yamaha just confirmed that the polarity of the sustain jacks cannot be changed on the Motif and most Yamaha synths.

Darn, I didn't realize that I am so damn spoilled! So used to Korg, ROland, Kurzwell and other guys...

Oh well, time to spend 30 bucks on a proper pedal!
