I gotta tell ya - I'm pulling out my hair trying to get the right balance when recording the SD7 - so far, the way I hear it from the speakers sounds the best to me. This recording is done with the Zoom Q2n - recorded about 1 foot away from the unit - absolutely live. I think it's the best overall sound so far. Thoughts?

Does anyone know if the actual YouTube video gets a "view" when we watch an attached link, here on the zone? Trying to bump those views up as fast as I can. The goal is 1000 views to the channel.

It sounds okay but has that airy sound overall...
I think a direct input vs a mic recording would be so much better audio wise IMO..

Sometimes, I agree, but I've tried every combination here, and can't get it as clean as I want with the correct balance. I'm not new to the recording game, so I think there are some gremlins at work here.

Tell It Like It Is sounds really great. Would like to hear a little more bass, but everything else seems well balanced.

I Just Called sounds excellent as well. Vocal harmony is getting there!

Thanks Don ... it's a teeny camera, and I'm not playing very loud, so there's not much air moving as it is. (apartment living!) I just want to learn the quirks of the Ketron Kamp ... and there's a bunch. So far, I've surmised that the areas that create the most inconsistencies are when the system is taxed, and mostly by large files. I'm experimenting with substituting sounds to see how the machine handles the different loads.

Stick with it; it's the best I've heard you on any arranger before.

Thanks Don ... I'm committed to mastering this one. I think it's the best fit that available right now ... until the SD60 is available (AJ has them all spoken for)
