Hey Everybody - decided I needed to get some "Help" for my arranger addiction. I suspected I had it, and this experience confirmed that I am indeed, addicted. Though the advice I got was sobering, I am glad I had the session. I suspect my recovery (if any) may take quite a while - it will be a long road for sure. At least I confirmed my "suspicion" was accurate. Maybe this video will help others who may be afflicted.

Thanks, Randy:

I needed that! My addiction runs deep and is especially painful because I won't allow myself to believe I can afford a new Yamaha Arranger whenever they roll out a new model. Envy, envy... envy... on that 900, my friend.

Nice video... with that "robotic" effect. Well done and thanks for giving us a chance at a "cure!" LOL!

Dave, for your purpose, the SX900 wouldn't be THAT much better. You'd have to learn quite a different operating system, although much remains the same. You'd get some new sounds, particularly vocal backgrounds. The drums are somewhat better sounding, but it's not dramatic. The 970 remains a really good arranger!

Tony, John and Dave - thanks for the chuckles! Today while staring at the monitor I decided to make sure the Movie Editor was "virus free"... it was fun. Amazing the technology you can find on the net these days. Thanks for watching and your comments! Stay safe all of you!
