Hi Stephen, on John Pizzarelli’s album “Meet the Beatles “ the way he totally re-arranged the familiar songs into something totally jazzy, is quite astonishing, the song “Things we said today” sounded like Van Morrison’s Moon dance, sorry, just realized I went off topic a bit much 🤓

Just listened to "Things ..." an absolute steal of the "Moondance" rhythm section ... I actually have a 'Moondance' style ... have to give it a try ...

Shade of Pale good to hear others talk about Pizzarelli. I was lucky enough to see him twice both in small auditoriums on one occasion he had his wife Jessica Molaskey perform with him.
