i had a choice between the 600 and the 700 when the 700 came out. my reason was over 400 dollars difference plus i use the organ in my ipad which i think is better(subjective). i compared styles and for my needs i chose the 600 i could npt see that much difference. im not saying that the 700 is not worth the upgrade, just for my needs the 600 was a better value. i couldnt come up with the extra money.

The arranger is not the ONLY tool in the box if you get my drift.;)
gear doesn't always have to be bought new ..

The Kaoss in the pa700 alone is already worth the 300 euro more it cost then the pa600. Not to mention al the other great stuff like more memory, better sounds and styles, creating styles from midifiles etc etc. So in this case newer is definitely better.
I don’t say the pa600 is bad (I had one) but the pa700 is a huge step forward.

After you enjoyed hammered action of DGX I wouldn’t be surprised if you went into direction of Clavinova CVP. That would be much more fun with delivery and setting it up :-)

The hammer action was part of the reason I don't have the dgx anymore... Old fingers...
Honestly I was never a piano player starter on accordion shifted 2 organ and now arrangers for 25yrs...

I have old fingers too give me the action of a piano any day of the week. I know it’s because all my training was on piano. We all have our own preferences, no one is right and no one is wrong, we use what we like.
