I never owned high end studio monitors but on Gearslutz people with $3,000 monitors say that the MTM is a steal for its price. Well, still I'd say $700 for a pair is a little pricey. Then I found out that each speaker comes with a microphone and Advanced Room Correction 2.0 software. So this setup fits my needs, and when I bought a pair directly from IK Multimedia, they didn't add sales tax.
