What are your concerns?

I had the s975 --- the Sx900 offers much more. Bernie has/had a S970 and now a Sx900. Wait on his opinion, John C.

I have both at the present time,though the 970 is up for sale for $900 mint. I decided,initially, to upgrade to get CDG playability,touch screen,and better speakers. I got that and more. It is taking me a while to get used to the new OS,but, with the same basic, familiar operation of the PSR.
The specs show many other additions,like more memory,styles,voices,and chord memory etc. The most striking difference,for me,is the detailed,more live sound in general. I am very happy I made the switch.

I'm with Bernie - I had the S970 and sold it to buy the SX900. To me, the upgrade is worth it for the new features. I do believe the newer speaker arrangement projects the sound better and the touch screen and Assignable buttons offer a lot of utility. And having the 3 voices in the right hand is a big plus as well. Haven't even looked back! Love the SX900!
