i still use a 1400 i like its simplicity not really good on sound compared to the 6500 or the 7000 but a user friendly computer and midi friendly light weight keyboard

The kn1400 is still in production by Technics as a mid-range model, but I don't know how much longer that will be. It's a great keyboard if you're comparing it to a Casio or like priced keyboard. Pretty bare-bones, and after being spoiled by the larger arranger keyboards, who wants to move backwards?
