Questions - How would I coordinate playing my Arranger with my iPad? If I use an interface, which one is best? How do I amplify the sounds from an amp? Are they any good/ better sounds than in the arranger? Thanks.

I’m never satisfied with either my s975 or PA50 piano. Can I download anything to get a better, more realistic sound?

You can use a Korg plugkey (https://www.korg.com/nl/products/computergear/plugkey/) to connect your iPad to your pa50. The output from the plugkey goes to your mixer or line in of your keyboard.

Yes there are very good piano’s for the iPad like the Korg module pro in app purchase ivory grand. Another good one is the Ravenscroft 275.

Get a good one that supports both audio and midi..

I am using a native instruments komplete audio 6, works perfect with both mac, pc as well as ipad... it offers best bucks for the money..

Korg module pro is a lot cheaper and versatile.

He already has a Korg piano sound that doesn't float his boat. Ketron will give a different flavor ... if he likes that sound.

The iap piano Ivory in the Korg module is from Synthogy. Also the standard piano’s in module pro are better and more realistic then the ones on the pa50 and the Ketron you advised. He can also try Ravenscroft 275.

From this great discussion I’ve come away with an interest in the Korg KeyPlug. My next question is - is there another, equal or better interface out there.

Question 2 - do any of the iPad apps, besides those already mentioned, have killer pianos?

Not exactly sure what you are asking Cassp. Alesis made an io dock for the ipad. put your ipad in the dock and use midi out from your arranger to midi in on the alesis dock which also has its own outputs to monitors, or back out and into your arranger. collosus app for ipad has some pretty good piano sounds. If this is interesting to you. Make sure you do a thorough research on the Alesis dock it is no longer manufactured and their were two versions and they would only accept certain ipads. The dock has a plethora of inputs.

Why better then the Korg plugkey? It is just great and simple to use. I know I have one. If you want a killer piano just buy a Steinway smile
