Well, after listening to every piece on this page....IMHO virtually anything can be done with an arranger kbd (and maybe some post production)...I think most of this is T4, T5 and Genos.....amazing. What a talented lady....

This one on Genos:

Take a little time and listen to some of them.....

Susie is incredibly talented, has the voice of an angel, and despite some horrible health issues, she continues to produce many masterpieces on that forum.

She has been near death several times and so far has been able to bounce back. She is really good, and a super nice lady as well.

Your welcome Randy, I must admit...I thought many more folks would chime in....I guess there isn't that many folks here that play that kind of music and/or appreciate the quality of her work...wow. Of course these pieces are for listening after the fact, not live play on stage. I really do enjoy both methods of arranger play, live and multi-tracked.

Lee! What the? N4SAX here! You a HAM? We are in very similar boats....radio toys one one shelf....music toys on the other! Hope you didn't sell all your radio gear. I have been having a ball on the air lately despite our sunspot issues. Have fun selecting what comes next? 73 for now.... de N4SAX...

Randy and Lee, We know it's a small world, ham radio operator here too W1DAM aka Whiskey 1 Delta Alpha Mike. I haven't been active on the air lately, but it was our buddy Randy who encouraged me to study for the ham radio license.

Lee's located about 25 miles north of where we spend time in Florida.

Thanks, Lee:

Enjoyed hearing some of her work again. I suspect she would sound great (health issues aside) with a kazoo and washboard for backing.

Best of luck in making a decision (or not) to find a newer arranger... and thanks for sharing.

----Dave

We met Susie on one of our trips to the UK. The last time we saw her we had to take a side trip to a hospital where she had been for about a week. That was about 4 years ago. A wonderful talent and a greater person. She also is an outstanding artist with many of her creations sold at various places.

Randy, Yep KC9CDT Ocala,FL, previously WA8OJC since 1966 a Ham Radio guy.

I did keep my Drake radios.....

Going to play a SX900 today, about an hour away drive....So far all the demos etc are pretty darn good.

I may put a 61 note MIDI kbd under it and have a organ setup...we usually only had about 44 keys each manual on spinet organs so 61 is basically a console organ!

We will see...
Thanks,
Lee

Steve, great news on the Ham story....it has been fun, but I am not as active as I once was...now I want to spend more time with playing arranger...can't do it all!

Lee - nice to meet you KC9CDT - I got my ticket in '70 as WA3TMO. I agree the challenge is heavy to decide which toy to turn on. My feelings are similar to yours...the time I spend on the keyboard potentially gets me much more for the investment than racking up contacts around the globe.

Enjoy the SX900 playing today!
