Best keybed feel I ever played on an arranger KB.
76 keys is a bonus.

The Genos has the same exact keybed as the Tyros ..

My personal experience... The G800, G1000 and the G70 are all better keys than the Tyros (and you had the G1000 and briefly the G70.. as Gary says the memory is the second thing we lose)

After Roland I rate the MediaStation (Fatar) next, followed by the Ketron SD7 (You also owned)

"Best" is very subjective. Lighter and faster are BEST to me, not weighted or semi-weighted.
Right now EA7 keys are best. For me.

I love the keyfeel on Genos just forget I mentioned it.

I also "liked" the Tyros keys, but not my favorite.

I think they are the same from DX7 days..

To me the Genos keybed and keyfeel is really good. 👍
Remember when I got the SD1 (before G70 who was pretty much similiar) I thought, and still does, that it was the best keys I ever played at an arranger so far.
But as always, personal taste makes different views and most often tend to be subjective. 😎

Mitch... Forget any demos from me here, I wanna stay happy it's holiday season. I learned a good lesson last few months here sorry..

Conversations here are no different than anywhere else ... Get a bunch of guys together and ask one "how do you like those tires on your car?" ... see how long it takes before the conversation is about which car is better than another, which one gets better gas mileage, etc.,etc.,etc., ... Right or wrong I don't know, but it's just LIFE ...

Donny - if you flip flop too often, you're gonna get called out on it. This is still an open forum, so you'll get positive and negative comments all the time. Listen to these wise words from from Marvin Gaye:
"Believe HALF of what you see, and NONE of what you hear" ... updated for today - "take all text messages/posts with a grain of salt.
There's no emotion, or civility in a font, and the written word often gets misinterpreted.

I know you unfriended me, but I hope that changes. It's Christmas, man. The season of forgiveness. I don't care if you play a Bontempi, or a Magnus chord organ - if you're happy, that's all that matters. Thing is ... you don't seem to BE happy. Maybe this new Genos will do the trick. You posted more about that board BEFORE you touched one than all the other owners that had one combined. I really hope you love it, cuz it's gotta be like having another car payment for ya.

During the years I've noticed the fact that you have lots of good friends here that wish you only the best. 🤗

Glad to see you're happy with Genos, and hopefully this will meet your needs and whishes until next generation of tempting technology appear.
More to add to the 'wondermachine' in a couple of days if Yamaha keep the promissed date.
Then we can start to post about likes and dislikes and what we would like to have in the next update or model. 😁

What does any of this have to do with Genos features?
sadly sz lately has turned into Facebook.

For me, it would be hard to go back to 61 keys. Even though I get goofed up on the left side(once in a great while) playing chords, due to the extra keys, I love the ability to change instrument sounds just by playing in a higher register.

Although I don’t often do it, it’s nice to have the extra keys to split into more than one voice.
