Just couldn't pass up a great deal on a PA4x w/soundbar too. don't know if SX900 is enough for my needs, the pre-order delay was a great advantage in the thinking, comparison, and reviews made me realize whats best for me ...thank you all.

Not that a new keyboard makes the pa4x any less then it allready is..
Thank you Bachus.... I agree,...having 2 previously I was silly to switch out and explore. It checks all the boxes for this singer/player in so many ways vs the Sx900.

Donny, when I tried it once at a local store, I remember thinking how great the keys were! The sounds were very good as well. Congrats! You're search is over.

Mike thanx you are so right the Pa4x keybed is excellent,.... slider control amazing TC helicon VH, chord sequencer, tilt up display, smf to style converter, song book, dual mp3 player, and so much more.
Nice one Donny, it was always what you really wanted and where your heart was. I would love to see a PA4x, it looks and sounds incredible.
Luckily for me, Bonners Music (which is also where I got my SX900 from) are opening up a third store fairly close to my town soon which will finally enable me to visit a music store and try out all these lovely boards.

Given that you are a professional musician, I find it natural that you need a high grade instrument. Other units can be useful too and everyone needs changes, but as a primary unit, I think, an advanced machine like PA4X is a right choice. Obviously, later there will be better deals on SX900 and a variety of smaller units will come out that can be used as an addition to PA4X.

Glad your happy and settled Donny. The indecision can be daunting. If I were in the market for a new board the PA4X would be my choice too. Bueatiful instrument. Just as a sidebar I sat in with a band the other night and the BK9 really shined being played as a straight synth. Especially the Hammond sounds. The guys were blown away with it.

As I have said, I feel the PA4x is best for my needs, except the keys. The older I get, the harder it is to make four hours without my fingers and wrists aching afterwards. I'm finding the EA7 more than adequate right now.

Don, did you sell yours?
It's still here in my studio.
Hi Don, I put 2+2 together and came up with 3. Haha
I suppose in your studio , you just play for as long as you feel comfortable, Work, different situation.

Profit has nothing to do with copyrights. It is all about the permission to make, and/or distribute a copy. I'm no choir boy in this area, but the laws are far from perfect or fair to the composers, and artists.

Donny,
Plenty of good things have been said, all I can say is ditto to all. My favorite that you have done on the Korg is “ A Lovely Way to Spend An Evening.” Nice job paesan.

Good stuff Donnie. With those quality backing sounds why would you need anything else. Good luck with your new keyboard and it looks like you made a good decision going back to the Korg again.

Donny, I just awoke after 36 hours of listening to whining inmates. This song made me realize the finer things in life. Thanks for making me feel good this morning. JM

Compliments from Holland Donny. May we assume you will now finally lay your head to rest with Korg ? a Pro needs a Pro tool, which you have now and in moments of slight mental perturbance you decided to flog twice, but I am glad you have seen the light again. The song you posted is "meraviglioso" !!!!!
John
P.S. you can always add a used PSR yamaha to the rig, just for the hell of it

Mine are eleven, 6 months, and twenty five. The second was the accordion player who needed a daddy to discipline her teenage delinquents. You can guess the chances of that succeeding.
