Bingo! Hey Donny, if you hurry, you can catch the last flight direct to Shreveport.

C'mon down DNJ, your crawfish pie is waiting for you! The style was an audio drum style on the S970.

You know, I just listened to that song again, and I may be wrong about the keyboard. Sure sounds like a Ketron style. I had both during that time. No wonder it was hard to guess since I'm not certain myself.
Randy gets a dinner too!
I will try to research more. Not that it REALLY matters except to demonstrate the quality of all modern arrangers.

So far nobody mentioned Casio, so it's worth a try. 🙄 🍻

Yes, I found the original file and it was Ketron SD7. I am sorry for the confusion. Seemed like a good question but I should have know the answer!
The things that got me thinking were the lack of automatic "help" with the guitar bends, and the uneven volume in the breaks, variation transitions and ending.
Because the drums sounded so real, I thought it was an audio style, and it was, but not Yamaha.

I ruled out the s970, PaX Korg series, I didn't have the SD7 long enough to make a call so since the style seemed unfamiliar I took a shot at Roland.
