Just wanted say thank you to the few SZ friends
who took the time to extend the Condolences
on my 96 yr old fathers passing last week.
It's been a heart breaking few days.
Fran, Tony M, Steve M, I really appreciated it.

Take care

Sorry, Donny:

First I've heard of it, sorry to say. Losing loved-ones is always difficult. 96 is a great accomplishment and I hope his years were productive, eventful, pain free and happy on a broad front. Life is short and every good moment should be savored. May he rest in peace and may your mourning fade into fond memories soon.

Sorry to hear about your dad's passing, Donny. My dad died at age 71 and suffered horribly with congestive heart failure for years before passing. I still think and dream of him nearly every day.

All the best,

Gary cool

I sent you a text the other day, but you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. It's a tough thing to go through.

Don I apologize with all the confusion it slipped my mind.
When something like this happens you really get to see
who your true friends are.

Thank you again

I missed your post regarding the passing of your Dad. My belated condolence on the passing of your Dad. Just be consoled that you'll see him again at the resurrection day as stated in the Holy Scriptures.
Shalom

Donny, sorry, this post got past me. 96 years old, how fortunate you are to have your Dad form such a long time. There are no words to express the feelings when part of you has been taken away, part of you is gone.

I remember when my Dad passed away, it took me a few days to realize that the man I knew from my beginning was no longer. He was my teacher, my protector, the man who loved me, and now I was alone.
Donny, I think about my Mon and Dad often.

I sometimes have conversations with them. They are not gone; they are inside of me. The way I live and love I learned from them. Sadness is no longer with me; I smile and think how blessed I was to have such a great Dad and Mom.

Donny, I hope my story brings you some peace, John C.

Donny, I did not read about this sad news before I see this thread.
Condolences to you and your family.
96 years is quite a long life, be happy for all the years you had together.
During sad times, remeber to keep the good memories alive, and life feels a lot better.
