... not really; it's just a song, or a poem, or a waste of space.
It's a tribute to the...

KING OF KEYBOARDS
(May be played using Bossa Nova, Big Band, Hip-Hop, or any Latin Style)

It’s a new morning; it’s a new day.
No room for yesterday’s toys.
Every day the brown truck brings
New stuff for little boys.

(Chorus)
My friend is a legend in New J.
He makes the most of every day.
He loves to play and loves to sing,
Can't wait to see what today will bring.

It’s so much fun to open boxes.
You throw the trash into a sack.
The UPS girl waits outside,
To see what he sends back.

He’s had his coffee, he skips his lunch,
He loves to simply sit and play.
He finds the best new gear around,
And sometimes keeps it all day.

(Chorus)
My friend is a legend in New J.
He makes the most of every day.
He loves to play and loves to sing,
Can't wait to see what today will bring.

He doesn’t fish or play with balls.
Music is his game.
He hears when each new keyboard speaks
And softly calls his name.

(Chorus)
My friend is a legend in New J.
He makes the most of every day.
He loves to play and loves to sing,
Can't wait to see what today will bring.

Right on, Brother Don:

Truth be known, it fits most of us as far as wishing we could follow in his financial wake... LOL!

"your so vain, I bet you think this song is about you "

But it is about Donny, we all guessed that .

I wish I had your quick learning methods for all the keyboards your've owned. You have my admiration for that. I'm staying with what I have mainly because I just don't want to learn and program a whole new system. I was thinking of years ago when I used to chase the Synthesizer Du Jor. Never had the cash to always get what was new but I had quite a few and remember thinking that it took me about 6 months of gigging and studying to feel comforable with a new board. You know right away.
Keep em coming and keep posting your info, I look forward to it.

Thanx Bill.... I hope everything's okay after the hurricane in your area and I also wish you were closer so we could have lunch again...

Thanks for the comments,I do like "fun" songs, here`s one that`s
a piece of English history and might be ok for Halloween.
