Glad to see Yamaha mixing it up using backing tracks, etc,
plus styles, & smf, also to get people interested in arranger kbs..

It’s probably the first time I have seen Peter look slightly under prepared to demo a keyboard . Still pro but not at his usual excellence .

Yes it does just like a S975..with some cool features added.

They Ain't KETRON Drums drums ...just sayin'
That said I can make most any arranger KB drum kit
sound the way I need with some editing.

It's hard to measure up to the audio drums in Ketrons. However many of the audio styles on Yamaha do sound great, because, like Ketron, they are real drum recordings. Wish there were more of them.

Audio drums are nice to a point I never cared for them
due to lack of editing them. You're stuck with the way they were recorded of which many times I am not.

Well. this is unusual. Not terribly impressed with this demo. I'm sure there is a lot of good stuff in the KB but are we going to need a masters degree in computer programming to use all of that stuff?

I have to say...after all the demos I’ve heard (granted...not in person) I’m not as enthusiastic to switch as I initially was. Maybe wait and see what the feedback is after it hits the market.

I agree, he's not quite as at home as he is below with the new CVP800 series Clavinova
