The drums sound good to my ears. Sure would be nice though to hear a demo of country, ballroom or big band stuff that us old fogies like. All of this dance stuff sounds the same. Like its being played on an arranger!

Donny, I think the drums in general sound like Genos drums. Personally...I would like them louder in the mix, but they definitely have more punch and definition than the 970.

I'm still not sure about the drumtechnology.
Because the S-700/900 have Revodrum technology inside, but i don't know if it's with all the wavecycling stuff inside or just a single stroke?

If you look at the data list you will see that there are no Revo Drums.
However, you'll see drum kits with the same name as the ones in the Genos.
According to some articles I saw on other forums the SX900 has the same samples as the Genos minus the wave cycling.
Makes sense for the price point.
The samples are very good. Much better than previous models.
In fact they are as good as the audio drums in the Tyros/S9xx.
I listened to the audio styles from the T5 in my Genos and than to the Revo styles in my Genos.
Except for 2 styles the Revo drums sounded better with more punch and realism.
Hope this helps.
Eric
