As mentioned in the threads on the Korg EK50 some news about the Kommex V3 module, produced in Austria. There is a generally version of it and a piano version. The general version has been adapted for use with either Yamaha ( Yammex) or with Korg arranger keybaords (Kommex). The module is not cheap but comes with over 4 Gigabyte of new samples and for the time being I can only refer to the many demos on youtube etc. I hope to have one myself later on in August and will keep you posted on this subject.

That remains to be seen, doesn'it. According to some reviews that I read if even adds a few worthwile sounds to Genos, but that seems a bit farfetched to me. But I am sure that , similar to the Ketron SD modules, or the much acclaimed Dexibel piano module, it will add to the sound of any motl arranger keyboard, possibly even to totl keyboards....
And talking about reasons , what is the reason of perenially referring to the arrival of a Genos 2 ( at least another two if not three years) just to put off having to purchase the Genos as it is.... rotfl

regards
John

P.S. I am amazed that not more people overhere are interested or at least have an opinion about the sounds/merits of the V3 Kommex module so far. ( there is of course also the Yamaha version called Yammex)
