can anybody tell me if I can sort out the registrations in an order in which I want them. The keyboard is a Ketron SD7,at the moment they seem to be going in in a random fashion,I would like to call them up in a 1.2.3 fashion.

I did not use registrations with my SD7 but I believe if you put a number in front of them you can put them in the order desired.

Thanks Deane.I think I tried that.I will try again.Maybe I'm missing something. The Bank in which I am putting the registrations is numbered and anything I have put in so far just seems to be allocated randomly.

As Deane mentioned, that should do it. I just did a quick test (on SD90 but should work the same) and changed the name on one registration, and it did move to where expected. We find it easier to do when connected to a PC or Mac although you can certainly do it directly on the unit via the rename command.

Problem.

Thank you Deane and you too Curt,You have certainly helped me.Its done and dusted through my PC.The only thing is the original bank numbers are still there so if I use the numbering facility to call them up I get a different reg,I can not see the RENAME COMMAND that you mentioned Curt.Anyway thanks again,The list is what I want .I always kept my registrations in that order on any keyboard I had and I guess I'm to old to change now.,Ger.

Gerry,

Glad to hear you have your list in the order you like it. I’m not in front of a unit right now but from memory:
Touch Media
Touch Disk Edit
Touch the icon for the primary disk in your unit
At this point you should see the files & folders on the disk
Select the file in question
Rename should be one of the options at the bottom of the screen
