Who's gigging Mothers Day Sunday 2019? And what songs does YOUR play list consist of?...
This song MAMA by Connie Francis was always my favorite growing up and to this day brings a tear to my eye any time I hear it.
Years ago back in the 60's/70's with the Wedding band in New York we always brought a chair out during the affair and sat the oldest women in the audience down in the center of the dance floor and played and sang this beautiful song to her,..... there wasn't a dry eye in the room.

I will play a barbecue on the patio of the club I work (With my new TC Helicon, hopefully)), then into the dining room. The outside work will be on guitar. Inside, I'll use my mobile unit: A Yamaha grand, with added mixer. Voice mike and guitars go into the mixer. For steel string guitars, I use a Sans Amp. Everything can roll from room to room, and I'm generally in 4 or 5 locations every week.
My favorite Mother's day song is Wildflower (She's faced the hardest time you could imagine....). I generally do "Momma's got a squeeze box...). Most of the work inside is instrumental.
