Kris has always played (preferred) Casio keyboards... I was really surprised to see an expensive Genos.. shocked

Maybe the Casio didn't hold up. Of coarse, he is a piano man first, and said he had to be careful not to pound on the keyboard too hard. I, also, admire his adaptation to keyboard from piano.

Very weird positioning of the mic boom?..secondly I hope he takes advantage of all the great sounds on genos and not only piano.
Is this in a Nursing home gig or?..

Yes, he brings it up to speak, like he doesn't want any visual or physical interaction while playing. He mentioned that he brought a keyboard only because he had just come from a gig and couldn't carry a piano. Whatever the occasion, I think be was trying to demo piano styles like Scott Joplins Entertainer and boogie woogie.

Thanx for the info but honestly after a while all songs sound the same playing piano...

I know he can play piano very well, but on most of the recordings on You Tube he plays very sloppy and often against the false. I wish I could play like him.

Impuls cool

Good player but I don't think he needs an expensive Arranger. He could do fine with just a Digital Piano. Maybe better with the weighted touch.

For those that don’t know
Chris got the Genos as a final gift from his mother before she passed away.
He told this in an unwrapping video.

I guess this makes the Genos really special to him..
