Hi all. Pardon my ignorance but I just want to record a midi song using a style & instrument I've selected then playing it from intro to ending the easiest way, then saving it as a midi song so I can play it back while showing the notes & chords. I have recorded it using the MP3 method but can't see the notes/chords this way. Any help appreciated, Thanx.

You need to do what I think is called a "Backing Sequence" recording. That will generate a MIDI file which can be viewed or edited further. I don't know of any keyboard that has the ability to display notes/score from .mp3.

In Sequencer Mode - Press Record, choose Backing Sequence, choose your Style, Tempo, Instruments, then press Start.Use Variations etc as normal.
When done press Start/Stop and Save it as a midi.
This midi can be edited if necessary (eg edit out mistakes or change instruments).
Hope this makes sense.
