Steve ... I believe it was the 'Cool Bossa' , but I changed some of the voices and pads ... One of the things I like to do with songs like this is set the following voices RH1 PIANO, RH2 VIBES, RH3 SOFT JAZZ GUITAR, and set the "Ensemble" to BLOCK ... it gives that George Shearing sound ...
Yes, it was 1 degree when I got up at around 7AM with a wind chill of -21 ... great day for keyboard, soup and a movie with the fireplace going later ...

Excellent! I really love the way you developed it, change of instrumentation, and nice improves too. Did I hear a “ So Nice/Samba Song” quote in the sax solo?

It not the keyboard, it's the keyboardist.

Tony I remember you liked the Shearing sound., it shines thru on your playing/setup. I think the style “cool bossa” is very appropriate for the weather you’re having Maybe it should be called “very cool bossa?”

THANK YOU all for the kind words ... they are much appreciated ... It is so gratifying to get compliments like that from fellow musicians ... It's such a beautiful song, I am happy I did it SOME justice ...
Shearing does Bossa... nice touch, Tony. Most enjoyable to hear an "old standard" revived and performed so well. Especially with an unconventional style the seasoned listener is not expecting... and cannot wait to listen again. Nice!

+1 to all the great cooments. Soft and relaxing music, and classy pianoplaying.
