Hi DNJ,
what happened at Roland? Aside from a bad look in the E80 it was a fantastic sound and
Very good arranger. I had always hoped they would rebrand it, get rid of the speakers and update the sounds. And before anyone says they did with the newer releases, I beg to differ. There is a YouTube clip live performance E80 some guy Italy that was fantastic.

I think they just lost the plot. Sad as it would be great to have them back as a major player
In the pro arranger market.

I had one. It weighed a ton. It had small display, difficult OS. Sounds and styles were good for the time.
EA7 is way better for a lot less money.

I had an E80 and I didn't like it at all,and the price as a used keyboard dropped like a rock and even when I sold for cheap after I put it on Ebay, buyers still didn't want to pay more then 1000 although you hardly see them sold at all,so, the theory that prices usually go up due to demand does not hold true for the E-80, it had very limited sounds and too big and heavy for me, I would second with the EA-7 much better for the money.
