thats the nature of realistic violins When solo they tend to sound a little unpleasant.. When played with a few violins at the same time, the sound harmonises.

That's not what I meant. I love Solo Violin when played right. As a matter of fact I lived with a violinist for a while. It might have been the playing technique or sample that I didn't like. It just didn't sound right ... Eric
