I’m doing two things here:

(1) I’m looking at a weighted action keyboard.

(2) I’m looking at a keyboard that will work with a drum/style,

Thoughts?

I don't think the the 2000 has any drum beats. Great keyboard though. Same as the FP90 so if you don't need all the extras, just great pianos, keyboards and key touch thats a winner. Fatar makde a good 88 key controller.
We've discussed this recently and it seems that the best option is a good controller woth a module.

its not styles, but there are about 200 midi drum loops inside ..
You can not load any user ones tough..
If you want good drums with it
Add an Arranger module, or even an ipad which has lots of incredible drum apps.. However ROland Piano partner 2 app, which turns a digital piano into an arranger (low end) is not available for RD2000, in which case the FP90 (same sounds engine, same keybed)) would been a better choice.

The RD2000 functions as an audio interface for IPAD or PC/MAC. and has a huge controll potential for VST's as well as an arranger module. Just set up voice 7 for your left hand parts (midi) and voice 8 for your right hand parts (midi) and you can mix and match your RD2000 sounds with any arranger parts.
