Sorry, it doesn't make much sense to me. It is the same old story - the only ones penalized are the honest possible customers who can not test before buying. Those who would want to use it unauthorized will do it anyway... Complicated issue. I tend to like better the software that is not too expensive and encourage people to be honest by attractive pricing. I am not saying vArranger should be cheaper, but I think, in general, out of ten people probably 7 will rather pay 50 bucks and use the programme legaly than have a price of 200, only two will pay and the rest will use pirated versions. I would like to test vArranger btw.

Gunner, I have used Dan's vArranger for about 6 years and can tell you it is worth the price..... Not GunnEr, but GunnAr. Yes, I know you're using vArranger, also seen your YT video showing your setup as well as many other users. But look at video is one thing, to be able to fool around into the software is another. I was close to buy vArranger, even bought an Akai MPK 261 to use, but since there was not possible to get a demo, I calmed down and sold it again. We'll see later, it's a very interesting software, and it's a huge amount of different styles in my archive to test out. Anyway, tnx for the input Deane.

When I did mention that the software is at a quite high price level, it was not because I don't think it is worth it. I guess you can't return it, or that there is any 'money back guarantee', so to taste the goodies before buy would be a good thing. I'm sure it would gain the sales, trigger the 'want to have' feeling, sort of speak. EMC XT is not low cost software either, and the price was the same many years ago when I bought it. If not the option to try before buy, a friend and myself would never buy 2 brand spesific and then 2 XT licenses at all. Not as active for quite some time until now, but Klaus also offer free updates and support, just the same way as Dan does. Well, not quite similiar, EMC don't have a dedicated forum.

Hi Dan, I've not used the vArranger that I bought before due to my need of a one in all module that I don't need to hookup a vocal processor/harmonizer and sound module. If you can remember, I requested for vocal input feature before. Now you said that you included a mic input now. So, does it has already vocal effects like reverb, echo, doubling already? Is my license eligible for this update? Thanks
