Today, I stopped by my favorite restaurant for lunch with a friend. Damned, I love fresh oysters, and this place has some of the best I've ever tasted. I invited DNJ and his charming wife to meet there a couple weeks ago, but he had something else scheduled that day. Started off with Oysters Rockefeller and a half-dozen raw Long Island Blue Points. This was followed by a wonderful tasting Fish And Chips consisting a a large portion of Pub Batter Fried Cod, potato wedges, and delicious cole slaw. Oh my - I'm gonna hate myself in the morning when I step on that scale.

man, the one thing I really miss about the eastern shore of Maryland is the seafood. Hell I have to drive 115 miles just to get to the nearest Red Lobster now!

Earl, you must admit, Maryland has some of the best seafood in the nation. I've traveled worldwide and never enjoyed seafood dishes as much as I do here in Maryland. Donny, crab prices have shot through the roof during the past few weeks to $75 a dozen in some locations. Lobster has always been very expensive in restaurants, so I buy them at BJs and grill them here at home - OH MY! Hope to see you soon, Gary
