Yeah, yeah, I know it's an arranger forum, but if we're talking personal ideal 'GIGGING' rigs, mine would be:

Group (trio/quartet w/singer): Viscount (KeyB) Legend/Leslie 3300 with Crumar SEVEN sitting at a 45 degree angle.

Solo: Viscount Legend/3300 with Roland VP770 on top and BK7m (for drums). This is actually what I have in my rehearsal room except two EV Srx250's instead of the 3300. I would consider a TOTL drum machine in place of the BK7m if it were easy to navigate live.

Yea chas you wouldn't make much money after paying all the roadies to carry all that heavy gear in & out gig to gig yikes.

Donny, you need to cultivate a group of strong, physically fit, female fans/groupies that follow you around from gig to gig. Plus, there could be other benefits smile.

Seriously, I would never factor gear weight into my criteria for playing a gig. I just would only play the gigs where the money justified the set up/tear down (or long-term gigs where set-up/tear down was not a factor). My primary interest in gigging has always been about the music, never the money or the hassle (maybe that's because I never did it full-time, in which case I might feel differently).

Yes a lovely lovely setup...
Espescially if you have the laptop run vst’s in the background

This comes close to what i hope to archieve..
The sk1 is kinda like the nord electro(little brother of the stage)

And the sd40 is teh 2nd best arranger module available...
And very neet and nice and only 2 kg..

Bachus: why don’t you trade your 4X in on an SD90 and team that up with your Kronos 88.
Might give you what your looking for in an 88 note arranger.

Thats probably what i will do..
But not untill i am convinced the sd90 is stable enough...
I never buy any instrument (not even yamaha’s) the first 6 months after release..
Both for stabillity as well as financial reasons..
