Hello all. Pa4x, Just wondering if I can change the drums on "swing band" style, it's in Jazz section 5th style. The factory beat has a double hit on the snare on beat 4
. I want only a single hit?? Can do? Thanx

Yes you can. It is done in the Style Record mode, then saved as a User style. I haven't done it so can't help with the details. It should be as simple as loading the style, going to record and paging over to the proper place and taking the extra beat out.

What Don said...

I saw your post on Korg forums earlier, and wrote this:

1) Select the Style and press the Record button. Select Record/Edit Current Style

2) Select that particular variation....press the menu button and select Event Edit

Here you can find the offending note(s) and delete it.

Before you save, playback the sequence to make sure everything sounds the way it should. In fact I would just save it to a new user location.

Hi All. Thanks for the replies. Actually I think I'm just going to change the drum kit to "dance-re mix" It sounds modern and gives more sizzle.
