My favorite Summer NAMM moment was when Rory Hoffman and I went to the Hammond booth. It was something to watch Tony Monaco (a fabulous player) watch Rory play with this mouth wide open in admiration.

Tony is GREAT! Didn't mean to imply that Rory is better, but he certainly got Tony's attention in the booth.

Yamaha released a new P-515 to replace the P255. Wood white keys is the selling point they are emphasizing in the videos.

There is also a new masterkeyboard by Arturia, the keylab mk2
And a new panorama keybaord the PT 4 and PT 6...

Steinberg released an incredible versatile orchestral library for Hallion..
Much more suited for live playing then many of the other VST orchestral libraries..

Shuey.....thanks for posting this. That's a real nice authentic sounding piano. I've been looking at the Privia's and the Yamaha 155 for a while now and can't make up my mind. This might be what helps me to "make up my mind." Yamaha definitely does have an edge over the Casio's in authenticity, but....it's not exactly a lightweight. Last I heard........the Casio's weigh no more than 2 lbs 3 oz smile. They're screaming...."buy me, you can carry me around in your lunch pail!.

I'm going to call SA tomorrow to see if they have that model on the floor.

It has wooden keys, so might not be very light..but then synthetic ebony and ivory from Yamaha are a blessing for the touch..

A yamaha 9ft grand and a bösendorfer 9ft grand..
And full access to the piano app from the csp series..

Sounds like finally some competition for the Roland fp-90
