Yeah, but it's just a matter of time before they return - I've been on this forum for many, many years and know it will happen. History has a way of repeating itself. wink

All the best,

Gary ... I think you may be right, but in all honesty, I don't recall either of them saying they were going to Yamaha because it sounds better ...

Can't say for certain but I'm certainly not paying more than $4000. for a Genos when I feel the Korg PA4X is better suited for what I do.
I haven't yet needed a style I couldn't find for the Korg, and several times a year they give us a new set of factory styles.
I like the weight of the S970 and it is the best of the S series, but it isn't even fair to compare it to the totl models.

Donny, I looked on my Pa4x for those styles and can't find them anywhere. Perhaps they were renamed? Perhaps they are Premium styles for sale someplace?

Best bet is to contact someone from Korg...they are really wonderful and useful styles and wouldn't mind them myself, so let me know when you do find them.

I also looked in all my previous Pa4x files too and beyond, Musikant, Dopamine, etc,...I'll send out a few emails to some of my friends at KORG like Jürgen Sartorius and see what happens..

Demo songs, not style names... The demo songs are designed to show off the range of sounds with the most realistic arrangements possible, so styles are usually not employed for them.

If that's the case and they are SMF then they can be
easily CONVERTED to a STYLE within the KB to use?

Short segments in a repetitive way, yes, but a bass line of a walking bass, for example, will always be simpler in a style, as it has to fit to any type of following chord...
