Just wondering why we continue with the SD naming convention? I much prefer AUDYA, think it sounds much more sophisticated.
Is the SD9 the "flagship"? To kinda take the Audya to the next level?
I know SD9 has Launchpad, but something about my Audya, i like more... I think overall sound is better on Audya, SD9 sounds a bit "less live", too much reverb, Audya sounds like it has more punch!!! etc...
With that said, will there ever be an AUDYA 7, AUDYA 9, AUDYA Pro?etc,

I agree with you. Yes, the SD9 has some newer features over the Audya, but the sound and connectivity isn't as good. The SD9 is very good, but not the flagship the Audya is, or was.

I've seen AJ comment regarding this in a post not long ago. SD9 is not a new Audia, there are more to it than only the name.

Like your Genos is not a T5 ? What I mean is, I wonder how much of the Audya is in the SD9. My Audya won't last forever, anymore than I will, but where do I look for a replacement if the Audya is dead?

I've tried to find the thread, but no luck so far. As I understood AJ's comment or explaination, it is about the hardware, and that Audya is capable to things in another way than SD9. But I don't think he mentioned anything about a new Audya successor ... Maybe AJ will post something about it in this thread if / when he see it?
Btw, Genos is not a new T5, but more like a T6.

Hmmm, i’d Have to compare them side by side Yes, SD9 has Touch screen, launchpad, but... I’m not convinced as far as what’s most important, sound!!!
