I’ve never had the best sense of timing but I don’t see what’s happening? I would say what Sparky wrote “freeze button engaged?”

Steve listen close when he changes. There's a slow lag..

Donny,

I picked up on it this time. Haven’t noticed that on my Genos, but I’ll check it out tomorrow.

Does this happen with all styles ? It actually sounds like a custom style and may not have been programmed correctly . It’s suspicious because they are only playing the drums and not the entire style

Had to listen more than once to hear any .... maybe I need hearing aid. shocked
Don't know what style this is, onboard or 3rd party or 'homemade',
but I cannot reproduce any lagging when tested a couple of random styles.
Also I notice it's the registration buttons that are used, and would
it be the same when use variation buttons? confused
(My Genos is updated to current OS v1.30.)

I don't think its really lag..

Might be this specific style, where the first drum hits just after the beat instead of on the beat, which gives give your mind the idea the style is slowing down.

If we can't reproduce it in other styles, i guess its style specific, and not lag, but a programming problem

I listened to it several times, and speaking as a drummer, I would say there is nothing wrong with the beat/speed. It's just a syncopated pattern that give the impression of being off beat, which it is meant to be.

But, would it be the same if not switch between reg 1 and reg 2 all the time?

I tried reproducing some sort of lag on my Genos today, it never happened. I have to agree maybe it's a customized style?

That's why I only use ONE Registration Per Song ...

I don't know, just listened to it again. I hear no difference. Listen to it while tapping you foot and DON'T watch the video. It all sounds the same to my ears. IMHO
