Hi Guys, Have a question on selling a keyboard. Haven’t sold one in years , so haven’t got a clue as to what it might be worth.
My old psr 1500 I gave to my young granddaughter, and after it finally died I decided to give her my korg pa800 rather than try and sell it.
Won’t be doing that with my Pa 3X, after I found out the pa800 was stored away in a shed!!
Anyway question is what roughly would a Pa 3X. be worth in percentage terms, ie 50% ? 30%? of what it cost new. Full price new, not a discounted price.
No good asking prices in dollar terms, our keyboards cost more over here than USA.
Disappointing to find out how a present has been cherished that way... In Ebay there's a way to see recent sales by filtering the search to "ended offers". Maybe you can try that for Ebay in your country. For my country, it shows some PA3X in good working condition, which reached a final price of around 1,200 Euros, which would be about 30% of the former new price. I would have expected more, as I've sold some of my 3-year-old synthesizers for far more than 50%, but it obviously depends on which leap the succeeding model has made...
Thank you Crossover, Yes it was rather disappointing, would have sooner given it to someone who would have used it. But, at least I know not to bother hanging onto the pa3x. I gave my clavinova piano to the neighbor the other day. His wife is over the moon. She hasn’t played in 40 years, now she’s practicing every day. Makes one feel good. Haha
Thank you for the advice about eBay. I will check it out. Had a feeling it wouldn’t be worth a great deal anymore, but better than maybe sitting in a shed again.

I second and third the motion about Rikki, she’s top notch and more than once has helped me or sent me file conversions for the Korg. First class lady all the way.
