First i have to say, wrong music for that crowd. LOL ! Maybe he's just trying to convince himself that he could do dance music in a large room. Doesn't sound like it to me.
I just don't see anything so amazing for $1200. And whats the big deal about battery power. I'm sure every venue this guy DJs in has plugs.
As in the other threat about this, so many other choices for less money that would do a better job.
Good system for a street busker with a guitar but beyond that not so much.
But if your in love with the BOSE name go for it and enjoy.

That explains a lot. I can't imagine any serious DJ going for a system like that. Maybe one for outdoor Ceremonies or Cocktail hours, but the real party rig is going to be something with more sound.

The few DJs and KJs that I know, personally, use the Bose PAS system and the L1 Mod II system. They stopped using conventional speakers when they first heard the Bose L1 PAS. And, now they no longer use CDs - they're all using PCs or tablets to store their music.

All the best,

I've seen a few DJs using the larger Bose Systems and your correct, no more CDs. They were also using multiple Bose bass bins to fill out the sound Big $$$
This smal Bose monitor is designed for other situations I think
