Having come from the 4X, I was very impressed with vocal processing on Genos. I’m not sure what the lag time(tracking?) issue is? I’ve never experienced that.

its NOT lag time at all it's how YOUR voices when singing track thru the VH2 processor keeping all parts together without dropoffs at any angle to the Mic and quality sound also,.. when power singing...I've had enough Yamaha units with VH,VH2 to state that as a pro singer first it doesn't come close to TC Helicon units which so many singer prefer to use even tough there is VH onboard Yamaha arrangers why is that?.. ....vocal singing isn't a main concern for Yamaha arranger players as you can tell by factory demos, you tube or whatever,.....
enjoy VH2 I will stick to TC Helicon every time ..

I still like my roland vp7 over everything I have ever heard. You just have to learn it's many settings It even does a full choir with unlimited voices played on keyboard. Nice

Glad to hear TC Helicon is working out for you...from experience I would rate it as a good system.

I also like the Genos system as well.
