I recently was hearing some ground HUM with my new setup rig, after isolating the source & investigating some remedies to fix the problem someone recommended this little inexpensive beauty from Pyle Audio to eliminate the annoying sound. And let me tell you I am so glad they did and as described the HUM is gone and I am a happy camper once more.

Nice device. I had a similiar problem with my Hammond XK3. Tried changing 1/4" cables first. A simple ground lift adaptor plug solved it. Sometimes those little things can be frustrating.

I agree with your decision Donny. While I know lifting the ground can eliminate hum that is not a solution I would choose. Far too many musicians have died over the years using ungrounded equipment ... when they grabbed a guitar or microphone and became the ground themselves. I will always go with a solution that doesn't involve compromising the power supply.

Agree. I had a female singer knocked unconscious from grabbing a mic stand on stage. The memory of seeing her laying there (we thought she was dead) haunts me to this day. I'm still paranoid about touching one of those shiny steel (chrome?) mic stands.

My solution to this age old problem has always involved the process of elimination and determining the offending connection then taking an appropriate step to eliminate that problem safely.
