Nice gesture on Korgs part, but they are all modern dance pop. I guess I am getting older than I thought. Oh well.

In my mind I feel like 20, in the mirror I look pretty much the same as always,
but when see myself at pictures, then I realize that the years have passed ....
Yeah, it appears that the facade is getting a bit older.....
Maybe that's why I tend to play a lot of 'oldies' nowadays confused wink

Any way to audition these styles from USB stick without loading them in PA1000?

I think it's a great gesture, and no doubt there will be some excitement from some players who will make use of these styles - Kytrinh seems pretty excited about them - but I just played a 5 hour gig in the lounge of an upscale Italian restaurant, and had the (small) dance floor full from 8 to 11pm, and I would not have been able to use any of those styles ... but that's just me ...

Hi, think it is great of them to share the styles. Unfortunately doubt there would be anything for me there either. Having said that, it’s the younger ones that should be encouraged to get into using these great arranger keyboards. The youngsters are the future, after all.

The type of styles I use are adequately covered, but , there’s always room for more. Haha

As far as I understand from posts at the Korg forums, you can load single styles at PA4X, so I would assume it's possible at PA1000 as well?

Hi Jim,

Does the pa1000 have a function called Direct Play? That’s the function used in Pa4x to play styles directly from USB stick.

Hello Rikki,
Yes, there's a tab named 'direct' but it's grayed out. I'll check the manual if there's a switch to activate that.
Thanks

It will be grayed out until you assign a USB to it. Then you can play directly from that.

I figured it out. Global, Media, Browse and select the USB stick and go back selecting styles and select Direct.
Thanks
