I’ve had the Genos for about a week...been playing 4+ hours everyday.

Genos Styles are well done and there is a good variety. The PA4X styles blew me away when I got the 4X...the styles were so alive. Styles on the Genos are there too.

Love the Genos voices...SA voices are something else.

I haven’t gigged with the Genos yet but I think it will work very well for live play..given live controls. That large 9 in screen really makes a difference for me...it would be hard to go back to something smaller.

I promised myself I wouldn’t give final approval to Genos till next week, but I think my mind is already made up. 😊

Truth is, I SHOULD NOT have ordered the Genos...figured I’d satisfy my curiosity and then send it back. Ya right. I’m really hooked now. I can see this as my last arranger.

Thoughts?

smile I had hoped that the PA4X was going to be my last arranger. Now I hope it's NOT!
I hope I live long enough to want whatever comes next!
And I hope you enjoy the Genos as much as I enjoy my Korg PA4X.

looks like we are at the same level, Genos in house just about a week now. cool

My intention was to order PA4X-76 because of the price gap, the 76 keys, and that Korg sounds real great. Then to keep T4 or maybe add a T5.
All that sudden, the price for Genos dropped, and I got a reasonable and fair deal, so I desided I would try out Genos anyway.
Have not found any big problems that make me concider to think about return. It's going to stay, and Korg PA?X 76 will most likely be added to replace the KMA during the year.
Also have a bunch Yamaha stuff that will not do any useful on Korg, besides of that, Yamaha offer free upgrade of the premium stylepacks already bought.

Coming from the first and only Yamaha I ever had, T4, it's a exciting step both regarding sound, styles, how to operate it and not least visually.
Speaker set sounds great in the room, but of course it need to be done some adjustments to fit personal likings.
Lovely and fun to play on, and if no big and bad surprises show up within the date for 'no return and money back guarantee' (30 days), it's gonna stay in the rack.

PA4X is an excellent keyboard.

Like I said before, I wish I hadn’t ordered the Genos.

It is great to have something to look forward to....
