And good luck with the new PA 1000. I've enjoyed many of the demo videos on YouTube. Maybe you can treat us to a few of your tunes?

Paul, you must keep in mind that mos of the time, you are on stage with a host of wonderful musicians and entertainers. The keyboard is not the star of your show, your entire band is, therefore, few if any audience members would notice any difference. However, if you were performing as an OMB entertainer, I can assure you that the audiences do notice when there is a dramatic change or upgrade in the keyboard. When I performed with a 5-piece country band, a drummer, bass player, rhythm guitar player, lead guitar player and me at the keyboard, everyone considered me the piano player, while I only used that instrument for a small number of the songs we performed. I was also one of three vocalists, so I was pretty much known to the audiences as the the singer that plays piano. I can't play piano at all - too hard on the hands. wink

All the best,

Gary

Well..........

By the crowd reaction, it went as well as usual.

By my reaction, I longed for the 3X - many reasons but I'll save all.

I will wait for the Konnect and try that combo. If it has some promise, I might be able to work out the bad areas.

At this point, I would have rather gone with the 4X 61 key and bypass the speaker feature (not as important as once was).

Thank you all for the compliments - just got home, have to wash my nads smile

Zuki.... Oh no!!! eek2
Buyers remorse setting in?
Maybe it's too soon to tell what is actually the problem? I know your so used to the Pa3x, will you play a few more gigs with the Pa1000 and see if you'll keep it? or, just forsake everything and get a Korg Pa4x and be done with it and go for the gusto like Steve M says?...
I commend your efforts it's rough in the trenches changing gear your used to playing and have a comfort zone, I've been there buddy get back on the horse you can do this good luck..... keys
