well, yes, that would explain it. Maybe the moral of the story is don't believe everything the salesman tells you...

The lexar SD is written up as SDMI compliant, so there is no reason it should not work for audio. So we have panasonic, sandisk, lexar, and i/o as potential sources (the i/o spec also mentions SDMI compliant). I've also seen toshiba sold as transcend, but these were expensive.

Just bought a sd card 128 mb Kingston also no problems.
I restored a back-up off 35 mb to this card in only a few minutes.
