from the chilly wilds of Maryland, USA. It's Christmas Eve, the weather if chilly and damp, and the wind cuts through like a knife. Brrrrr! We've had a bit of snow during the past few weeks, but fortunately, it has all melted.

This time of year, when it's much too cold for sailing, I frequently sit down at my trusty old PSR-S950, pick out a style and record the first thing that comes to mind. Here's a link to the Christmas songs I've recorded during the past three weeks. Christmas Song Folder

I sincerely wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Happy New Year.

Gary, Merry Christmas, thanks for the tunes!

By the way when we’re traveling this Friday on I-95s thru Md, I’ll be sure to wave as I drive by exit 77.

I'm making a fresh batch tonight, Donny - bout a gallon oughta cover the holidays.

Steve, have a safe trip to the sunny south my friend. I just might sail down again next fall if I can still breathe.

Merry Christmas, guys,

Jim, that gallon will go a long way, and the vast majority will be consumed by friends and family. I should probably send a 5th up to Michigan so you can stay warm this winter. wink

Donny, Gary is a great friend but this trip we’re trying to outrun the snow that’s headed to the north, the sooner we’re in the south away from the cold north east the better!

Sposed to snow like Hell here next Saturday. Steve, I would get out of Dodge as quickly as possible if I were you. It's so much nicer this time of year on the West Coast of Florida. Stop by on the way home and I'll burn you a fillet mignon.

My wish for all is a healthy prosperous new year filled with the joy of music. The year passed pretty fast but it left some precious memories. Where else would I get the chance to read and share my thoughts; most my days start and end with Nigel’s creation, SynthZone. Thank you Nigel.

I have been programming my S970, it’s a breeze – fun to do. I look through the styles that I have gathered; they all have song names, and the style fits the song name just right. I could do no better. Gary the wizard at work again. His work and knowledge --- and willingness to constantly share is one the big reasons I own a Yamaha keyboard.

Thank you my friend, I just placed you in the Hall of Fame. Gary and Yamaha – Yamaha and Gray, they just go together.

Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year to all those that help me enjoy 2017.

John C.

A bit late perhaps as regards Christmas, still........ and I do wish all of you a most prosperous, healthy and musical 2018.

regards,
John

P.S. Gary, that was a lovely rendition of some of the most well-known Christmas songs, highly enjoyable. Makes me wonder what all the fuss is about with all these new keyboards smile
Perhaps I should cancel my order for the PA1000 and get an old banger like the PSR950 smile smile

Well, it's not nearly MN, but 31 degrees with a 16 degree wind chill here in RI ... and it turned into a white Christmas, with just about 2 inches of snow this morning ... and that cold spell next week will have highs in the teens next week ...
MERRY CHRISTMAS, everyone ...

That’s what we are hearing! We have a back up plan in case. Thanks for the offer on the return trip, filet mignon sounds great.

Hi Rikki,
We already had the kid (grandson), but the puppy is new. His mother is Chihuahua and his father is Pug. He is 8 weeks old and already trained to sleep in his crate and pee outside!
For some reason, he has not barked. Not once. I'm wondering if he has a voice!
Grandson is J.J. and he named the dog D.J. (Dog Jay).
Hope you are having a great Christmas my friend!

Hi Don,
Kind of gathered that, looks a tad big to be new. Haha. ( grandson that is)..
What a combination , sort of has a boxer look about him , but tiny, really cute. That’s great that he is already house trained. Don’t wish the barking upon yourself, my little guy didn’t either till his first stay at the boarding kennel, hasn’t stopped since. Kids love dogs. Your grandson looks similar age to mine, give or take a year or two.

Xmas was hectic haha, had the whole family up for 4 days. I know who was the happiest when they all went home, my two little dogs, they were luved to death. Haha
