My 4 cents............there is a detachable keyboard if you remove that that’s more than half the weight gone.

what’s the laptop weigh? I know it depends on make and model, unless its an expensive ultra-light you’re looking at close to 4 pounds there.

I'm not trying to sell you on the tablet, but if you're using a laptop for mp3 files and lyrics, the tablet is very capable, you can do the same work with it. Of course it probably wouldn't suit higher end DAWs. At $133 that's what I just paid for one, brand new, not a refurb although I was looking to buy the $90 reburb, I just wasn't able to connect when they had them in stock.
