Im not talking about copy & paste some you tube demo....
but a real world in your house Genos audio or video demo so we could really hear what it sounds like with out all the pro audio engineering EQ you see on you-tube etc etc ...just push record, play, save, and post..doesn't have to be fancy.....Im sure many would love to hear genos as if they were home with it.

What would that tell you? I'd rather hear how GOOD it can be, not how BAD it can be (Pro vs Amateur)......but that's just me.

It's called real world reality Chas nothing more....people watch these videos demos that are doctored by audio engineers thinking when they get home its gonna sound like that & it ain't gonna happen,.....so that's why I wanted to hear it raw from someones living room. just to have someone post anything here is a challenge in its self but that's another story for whatever reason that may be ....that said I'm off to White Castle for dinner cool2 .....oh yeah BTW have a wonderful Thanksgiving to you and you family!...
take care ..

Its far from Genos.. but heres a direct recording from my T4 of a customed sampled style recorded and sent to one of singers invited to do a show.. she just wanted to hear what tempo and style shes going to sing to on the night, given literraly no time for rehearsals when she arrives..

https://soundcloud.com/audyawow/hotstuff

The second style is again recorded as an MP3, thus So i can use it as a playback to do a sound check after all the set up .. sound is recorded via an iphone (sorry ) coming from an HK Audio Element System..

https://youtu.be/6TwMZ4LpBNA

All that stage lighting and sound set up took me and my 14year old son about 2.5hrs to set up and programmed..though alot longer prep time before the day. We try to limit the hours of hiring the hall so everything was pre planned and very limited hours for execution...
As you all know, the work and time spent in this field theres no amount of money thats is justifiable..if love and passion for music dont come first..

Here’s a clip of Tyros 4 Live..

Here's a new demo from Bonedo Synthesizers I think you might enjoy. First of all this demo represents how it would likely sound on my sound and recording system at home if I had a Genos. It has a lot to do with how it's recorded i.e. what method and equipment was used to record the demo and/or video in the first place. Music stores and Yamaha in particular have high-end recording equipment to help make the Genos sound its best. Another area of concern is what kind of speakers do you use to listen to the demos? Cheap speakers usually produce less than optimal sound reproduction. So hearing the demos on a good set of speakers is important obviously. I'm not saying anything we don't already know, right? cool

All the best,

Mike

Donny, did you know there is an entire section devoted to Genos at the PSR Tutorial site?

Check it out,

Gary

Donny,
This german getleman says something to consider about Genos and its little brothers: Translated from German: "I was able to play the new flagship of Yamaha today. Keyboard with aftertouch, touch display, endless knobs, sliders, 76 buttons, these are the first highlights for me. Of course great for the live player and the technician. As far as the keyboard, buttons and buttons are concerned, of course, the PSR-S770 / 970 falls behind. If it's just about beautiful music .... you can do that with your little brother. You have to decide between 1800 and 4500 € ;-)"

Thats my friend Alois...

He has over 100 tutorial video's online about the PSR s970
From which even non Yamaha players can learn a thing or two

And he asks the question, yes the Genos sounds like a considerable improvement in sound and utility. But is it worth the huge price difference?

Bachus, price is a relative thing when it comes to musical instruments, especially when you are an onstage performer. The better you sound, the more you are in demand, and the more you are demand, the more you can command higher fees.

All the best,

Gary cool

Bachus, I’ve watched a number of video posted by Alois, even went to his website.
Sadly I do not understand any language other than English.
But I can tell, without even understanding the smallest bit of what is said, that he shares a tremendous amount of knowledge about yamahas.
Really wish I could understand.
