Played a coffee hour yesterday at a local assisted living....nice group.

Was going to bring my S970, but when it came time to go, I grabbed my 4X. I’ve really come to rely on and trust that keyboard...guess I’ve bonded with it. I also brought my DXR10...a bit heavy but it’s size is a bit more manageable than my JBL Eon.

If final blood numbers look good, hip surgery is Monday. After that, I’ll be using a walker for some time.

I’m not sure if I will be able to haul equipment to the gig in the future...time will tell.

In any case, the PA4X is sure a winner isn’t it?

👍👍👍

Good luck sir...my knee surgery recovery is driving me insane. My dad had 6 hip surgeries prior to his death (WWII guy), so I know hip recovery can be arduous. Hope it goes well for you.

The bright side is that you'll have plenty of time to play with the 4x, set up Songbook entries, etc.
Get well soon!

Guitpic1,
We have several friends who have had hip replacement and all of them were back up and doing things within 4 months. After about 6 months they were pretty much normal again.

Best of luck and wishes for a good experience and recovery.

I've had two knees done, and my wife has had one hip done ... based on our experiences, I think the hip is easier to come back from than the knee ...
Do the PT, but don't OVER do and you will be fine ...
Best wishes ...
God Bless
