Can someone convert what these prices are in American Dollars ?

Will a Technics keyboard made for Europe, work in the States, or is the electrical compatiblity an issue ?

And are there any similar good deals in the U.S. ?

Just curious

FAO Larry,

For every Euro read $1.2542 (US). You can get more details at the following link:

I don't know for sure, but I think the two different
prices have something to do with import/export and
there most probably are going to be added taxes and
VAT when keyboard being collected at the local postoffice??

As far as I can see, all other kb's are priced "as usual"...
even if I can see most prices are higher than I could see at
my dealers store.

Mark and Michell,

Thanks for the currency converter link

After converting Jupiter5's Euro price, it is about $533 US Dollars.

No way any dealer in the States is selling a KN2600 for that price. I would say the price is double that..at least $1000.

Why would Technics allow their latest keyboard the KN2600 which boxed was £1000 to be sold in several outlets for £299
1. Can't they sell them
2. Are they not any good
3. Also some EWO expansion boards at £79
4. Are they dumping all their stock
5. WHY
6. Think about it

Technics Doom Day Johnnie,

You seem to be convinced that the Technics Keyboards are fading away like the Technics Organs. I hope you are wrong as I have owned many organs and thougth that Technics was one of the best. I have never owned a keyboard other than Technics 6/7, but I look forward to 8,9 ?

Selling price of keyboards in my opinion does not indicate dealers are unloading. Where I am located in Florida, USA, the price of the KN7000 ranges from $5995 to $2800. The difference in price is how badly the dealer wants to scalp the consumer.

Happy New Year Johnnie, hope to see you with a new 8000 soon.

Fran in Florida

I just purchased a KN2600 for £299 (426 Euro, $540 US dollars) from a UK site which I am pleased about. Only had the keyboard 2 days and getting the hang of it.

Hi John C,

I provided a list of UK dealers a while back. Read my post in this thread. Click here:
http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum25/HTML/002220.html

Visit their websites to contact them. Ask if they ship to the U.S. and what the total cost to you would be. Keyboards are decidedly cheaper here in the U.K. You might get the deal you are searching for.

Here you go.........Turnkey a major music retailer and distributor are selling the keyboard for as mentioned above. When I seen the price I thought it was a printing error but apparently not.

I ordered it via the web with no problems and got it next working day. I am taken aback by the quality of the sounds considering I was a Korg Karma, 01/W, M1 owner to name a few.

The site is http://www.turnkey.uk.com/tkweb/index.jsp

They have the KN2600 advertised on the main page.

Thanks

PS they also do international deliveries aswell
